Happy Birthday TMH! We're celebrating our first anniversary this week.

Welcome To TMH

The Mess Hall is a Sims 2 based fansite, that tries to focus less on rules, and more on having fun! We only ask you to remember to respect others and yourself. We have a chat area, shoutbox, and spam area for the chatterboxes (much like myself). Sim based wallpapers, avatars, and of course custom content for you game. Sim contests, discussions and news to keep you up to date. We have 130x130 avatar options, personal titles and a growing number of color schemes to choose from! We hope to grow as a forum with the help of friends and members alike, as we are always open to suggestions and ideas! Lurking is fine by us, but we promise, you'll have more fun getting involved!

Another new theme and some avis

In honor of the latest EA / Maxis game by Will Wright, I made another forum theme called "MessHallSpore". Matching this theme, there are some new avatars you can select at your profile - you can see one of them on the left Wink

I made all of this with the Spore Fansite Kit which is available at the official Spore homepage.

Our First Birthday!

Creature Creator Patch and game pre-load

Last week, a patch for the creature creator has been posted on the official site, for both the trial version and the full version: http://www.spore.com/patch

Here's the list of fixes:

* Improved thumbnail resolutions for saved creatures.

* Added five new animations, recorded when creating animated GIFs in Test Drive Mode.

* Fixed a randomly occurring system hang.

* Fixed a crash associated with EADM.

* Creatures no longer disappear from the Sporepedia when the save flow is interrupted.

* Corrected the Audio buzzing found on systems with nForce2 integrated audio.

* Updated Spanish and Polish readme files.

* Updated the EULA found in the installer.

* Fixed disparity between server and game complexity limits.

* Integrated the newest save creature PNG.
NOTE: This allows creatures PNGs made with Spore to be drag-and-dropped into the Spore Creature Creator. Spore Creature Creator players who do not patch will not be able to drag-and-drop PNGs created in patched versions of the Spore Creature Creator or Spore.

* Improves overall stability.

Also, the game is now available for pre-load from EA, but you can't play it before the release date. Which isn't too far away either clap
